He said "you're it" today. You wouldn't understand it but I sure did. He says a lot of phrases. I think he's skipping words and going to sentences.
I kept fixing his right leg in the bath tub tonight, correcting his W-sit. After the third time I just said, sit comifaux (properly) and HE DID! Then he played smart with me, he'd put his leg back and look at me with this, "now whadiya gonna do" smirk.
He's also showing signs of potty training readiness which just floors me because, he's not really a talker yet. He has patted his butt after a BM twice, letting us know that he's done his business. Well, tonight after dinner he was doing his regular "run around and stop and have a poo" routine so I asked him if he wanted to sit on the potty. He RAN to the bathroom. By the time we got there, he'd already finished his business but we sat for a while anyway. Big step as he did not like the potty 2 months ago.
The last thing is he's become a lot more affectionate. He is not a demonstative child, never has been but he gives hugs and kisses all the time now. His quirky little sense of humour is starting to shine through too.
Honestly, it's days like today that make me take stalk of him. I really underestimate his abilities. Here's a new picture. Taken on Sunday.
