Well, what have we been up to? We all had a nasty case of the stomach flu. It started with Rémy, moved on to me and then Gary got sick. It wasn't nice and it seems that everyone in Toronto came down with it. Blek!
But the main reason I've been off the blogsphere is my business trip to Florida. I left on the 2nd of April for 12 days in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Now that it is over, I can't believe that I survived 12 days away from my family.
Gary and Rémy made out just fine. Gary's exhausted, as he should be and Rémy seems nearly oblivious to the fact that I was gone.
He grew up so much in the time that I was away. I missed so much. He's dropped his morning nap completely now. He also sleeps a little later in the mornings. He no longer cries for us to come and get him but awakes happy and talkative, remaining in his bed until we come and get him. He also doesn't need a cup of milk immediately anymore and has his milk with is breakfast now.
Rémy is also saying a few more words and uttering new sounds. He talks all the time. He's very good at making his needs and wants known.
