Back From Winter Snow Play!

Hello Everyone,
We arrived back in Toronto early Sunday afternoon. I'm busy putting things away, doing laundry and grocery shopping. I let our supplies dwindle prior to leaving and we need just about everything!
We had a great time in Harbor Springs/Petoskey. The people are just so polite and lovely. Gary and I took turns on the slopes and Rémy spent lots of time in the resort's pool. We had dinner each night with my sister and her family. Her children entertained Rem and he just GREW so much over the week.

On Friday, I was walking about 40 feet in front of Gary and Rémy and I hear Gary say, 'he's telling you to wait'. I then hear Rem's little voice yelling "wait, wait". It's his newest word. He runs after you shouting "wait, wait". He also picked up this trick from his 13 year old cousin, where he touches furniture and pretends to get electriculted and falls to the ground with an, "ouch".

Nob's Nub is a wonderful ski resort with incredibly well groomed hills and extremely helpful and nice staff. The chairlift was just outside our suite, talk about convienience! The first day was overcast and so foggy it was dangerous. The next day was sunny, windy and bitter cold but the following two days were unbelievably sunny and pleasant with temperatures hovering around freezing or slightly above.
I conquered my fear of the terrain park and actually caught some air on a couple of obtacles. I even road the half pipe a half dozen times or more. Narley eh? Only one bad spill that I'm still feeling - thank goodness for helmets. Sorry no pictures of us on the slopes or of me taking a header.
The drive from Sarnia wasn't too bad, about 5 hours. Remy slept for a bit but mostly he enjoyed watching DVDs. My BIL gave us theirs for the trip and told us we could have it for now. This will make all our trips to Sarnia mooocho easier and we plan to go each weekend this summer from Victoria Day through Labour Day.
