Busy Week. Busy Weekend

Today is Sunday and I'm exhausted just thinking about the week we've left behind. My mother came for a short visit, just an overnighter. Rémy charmed her by calling her "grandma", not once but several times. I'm trying not to feel put out as he's not yet said ma-ma. Yeah, yeah...I know. It'll come.

My mother did us a wonderful favour. She babysat Rémy so that we could catch a movie. Gary and I finally saw Walk the Line. I can see what the hype is about. Great movie.
Yesterday Rémy and I went shopping at Square One. We also got his haircut - again. We went pretty short this time. Looks great. He looks so grown up though!

Gary and I took Rémy down to the pool again and he had such a good time. We had water wings this time which helped keep his upper body above water. Rémy thinks that he can swim and tries to take our hands off of him. He wants to go "solo". He is such a fish.

Today we had a lovely breakfast at our friends Jennifer, Jean-Pierre and Julia's home. A little breakie and playdate. Rémy wore his Canadien's jersey in their honour. Must make the former Montrealers feel at home. Julia, at 21 months is a fashionista already. She was sporting REAL suede pants and beautiful natural curly hair. She is a true cosmo girl who can converse in three languages! Her little French accent is a delight to hear.

Wow - that Julia is a real beauty! Love Remy's haircut... I'm thinking it's time Liam had one too. Any tips?
