Potty Training is not Fun.

One of the first lessons a new parent learns is that not everything, in fact, not much ever goes according to plan. I had planned on having a natural child birth and ended up with an emergency c-section. Gary and I have agreed all along that wtih potty training we'd let Remy decide when he was ready. He's shown all the signs of readiness. In fact, he often tells us that he needs to pee and does so on the toilette or potty. We set aside the July long weekend to do full on toilette learning. We put away the pull-ups and put him in big-boy underwear. Five accidents latter (including two messy BM's and a vomitting session onto my shoes) Remy flat out told me he wanted to go back to diapers. So, he's back in pull-ups but still telling us when he has to pee. We'll give it a try again next weekend.
